Welcome to the first posting on our Gilbert and Rose blog. When we first decided to set up our company we wanted to bring beautiful homeware products that are made here in the UK, are environmentally friendly or made by artisan business folk whenever and wherever possible, to the market.
We feel that it’s important to support Fairtrade too, and therefore we try to only use those suppliers who support and import goods which have been ethically produced.
Our throws that have been made here in the UK by both Bronte and Melin Tregwynt have been extremely popular. There is such a big choice of colours and textures to choose from and they are so beautiful! We love them all. If there is anything we don’t stock but you would like, then PLEASE contact us and we will do our best to source it for you. The NKUKU range is lovely and Fairtrade too.
We stock lovely candles, diffusers and room sprays and the Beefayre range have positively flown off the shelf (apologies for the pun!). We love everything about this range from the gorgeous smells, the pretty packaging, their company ethos and not least of all, the lovely staff at Bee HQ. We are hoping to feature them in another blog shortly.
Just scan through our website and you will see that we have beautiful handmade cushions from Helkat and Vintage Twist. People often shy away from ‘handmade’ but the quality of these is amazing and we feel privileged to stock them. They look beautiful in most settings and each piece is individual and unique without losing any of the quality that you expect from the bigger companies.
Finally as a family run business we believe that you, as the customer, deserve the best in customer service. We will go out of our way to ensure that your goods arrive on time (although we can’t help it if the postman decides to hang onto your lovely purchases for a few days whilst green with envy that they are not his).
We are careful with our packaging, we love feedback and we always believe that the customer is right so in the unlikely event of you changing your mind or not liking something we will do our very best to put things right quickly and without a fuss.
